Early Childhood Education Center
A collaborative effort of Clark State Community College and Springfield/Clark County Joint Vocational School, the Early Childhood Education Center opened in 1996. ECEC is licensed by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services for the care of children from six weeks of age up to kindergarten. The center is striving to become accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Many of the Clark State Early Childhood Education classes are scheduled in the model classroom, Room 100, dedicated to Clark State students.

The Early Childhood Education Center is conveniently located amid the Clark State Community College campus and the Springfield/Clark Joint Vocational School.

Clark State Community College
Clark State Community College offers a lab/lecture room dedicated to the Early Childhood Education program. The classroom is located on the Leffel Lane Campus, in the Applied Science Center, Room 136. The classroom features some of the learning centers found in the typical early childhood classroom, as a reference and hands-on example for our ECE students.
